BIOEUNEX™ ULTRA BIOACTIVE β‑GLUCAN

A powdered B2B ingredient made from the fruiting body of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), with a guaranteed minimum beta-glucan content of 60%. Produced using gentle technological processing without organic solvents, carriers or additives. Intended for use in dietary supplements, pet nutrition and functional foods.

β-glucan content according to the current Megazyme® K-YBGL analytical method

Each batch is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis from a laboratory accredited to ISO 17025. We test beta-glucans (using an enzymatic method, not just polysaccharides) according to the current Megazyme® K-YBGL methodology (revision 09/2025). Technical data sheets and specifications are available on request.

According to the current Megazyme® K-YBGL method (revision 09/2025), the BioEuNex reference batch reached a β-(1,3/1,6)-D-glucan content of 62.97%.

The same type of our high-purity β-glucan achieved values of 92–94% when measured using the previous methodology. The difference therefore does not indicate lower product quality or purity – it is the result of a change in analytical methodology.

Values measured using the previous and current methodologies cannot be directly compared. A figure such as 94% is meaningful only when accompanied by information about the methodology and its revision used to determine it.
